Advantages of our wine opener: original design made of steel and wood, stainless steel worm, easy to clean with a damp cloth, free delivery throughout Europe. Enjoy your wine with a wooden wine opener! This bottle opener is gentler and faster than others. Ergonomic and compact, its stainless steel worm pierces the cork without damaging it. Offering free standard delivery, it’s an excellent gift for wine lovers. The wine openers we offer are handcrafted by expert artisans using eco-friendly materials to ensure exceptional durability. These sturdy corkscrews fit easily in the palm of your hand, and a foil opener is located at the front for removing foil capsules. Its serrated blade will help you remove the plastic from the cork, and its unyielding worm cuts through the cork effortlessly. If you’re unsure how to use a wine opener, start by removing the foil sleeve from around the neck of the bottle and place it on a hard surface. If the cap doesn’t have tabs, use the corkscrew’s knife to pry it open. Next, extend the double-hinged lever to form a T with the corkscrew’s worm and hold the bottle in your left hand. Use your right hand to insert the tip of the worm into the center of the cork and turn the corkscrew clockwise. Once the cork is caught, place the second notch of the lever on the neck of the bottle and pull the handle. If the cork doesn’t come loose, twist it slightly from side to side until it does. Finally, twist the cork counterclockwise to remove it from the worm. You’ll certainly want to offer your guests some wine first. In specialty shops, the server will go through the whole process, showing you the bottle and letting you smell the cork before pouring you a small sip. You don’t need to do this at home, as the whole point is to check if the bottle is tipped. One of the biggest threats to wine is the surface area. The more wine is in contact with air, the faster it will begin to deteriorate. If you’ve only consumed half a bottle of wine, this means the remaining wine is currently exposed to half a bottle of oxygen, which is not good. Pour your wine into a smaller bottle or get a wine pump. + Learn more
